Best “The Shack” Inspired Places To Visit

Whether you are a fan of the book or the movie, no one can deny the fact that the epic tale of “The Shack” brought tears to each one’s eyes as the story came to an end.

The movie is about a Mack Phillips, a father who lost his daughter in a tragic way. Very soon he gets extremely depressed and questions his faith. One day he receives a mysterious letter requesting him to go to an abandoned shack in the wilderness. Here he meets a whole lot of strangers whom each helps him to find the answers to the questions he was looking for so desperately.

After the “tissue moment”, a thought occurs – Where in Mpumalanga can one go to live in a shack like the one portrayed in the movie? A place where one can enjoy solitude, nature, peace and quiet and give yourself a break from the buzzle and hustle of every day life.
